Dieser Fall ist das längste, teuerste und umfangreichste Verfahren gegen eine Seenotrettung-NGO und ein Zeugnis für die umfangreichen Bemühungen der Behörden, Seenotrettung und Migration zu kriminalisieren.</p><p>Zwar ist die Freude über den Ausgang dieses Verfahrens groß. Es bleiben aber Sorgen:</p><p>"Infolge einer mangelhaften, von politischen Motiven getriebenen Untersuchung sind Tausende von Menschen im Mittelmeer gestorben oder zwangsweise ins kriegsgebeutelte Libyen zurückgeschickt worden", so Sascha Girke, IUVENTA-Angeklagter. iuventa-Crew<p>In today’s hearing, prosecution asked to drop all the charges against the iuventa-crew! <br>However, the judge's decision is still awaited. <br>This is great news for us and for the whole movement against the criminalisation of the facilitation of free movement in Europe! </p><p>That it has taken 8 years since the investigations began, 3 million euros of public money spent on persecuting people who save lives, is still a disgrace.
