#TurasCholmcille, Stad 2, probably one of the most recognisable and visually striking of the cross slabs in #Glencolmcille #GleannCholmCille.
Marking the western approach to the original Turas, it is one of only two of the cross slabs with carvings on both sides.

Stad13, #TurasCholmCille, in Gannew, #Glencolmcille, cross slab with incised cross and cup patterns.
On 9 June, Colm Cille's day, a Turas (pattern) is travelled by pilgrims visiting the stations.
This is a fibreglass replica of the original cross slab, stored in the nearby folk museum. The origin was broken near the base and moved for protection when the road was widened some years ago.

Leac na mBonn (also Seac na m'bun and Leac na hAchainí), #Glencolmcille, Co #Donegal, #TurasCholmcille.
There is a very faint incision of an equal-armed cross inside a circle at the centre of the stone.
I have a completely evidence-free personal theory that this might have once been a coronation stone before the monks showed up.

Stad 14, #Turas Cholmcille, #Glencolmcille.
The only cross slab of the pattern south of the Murlin river.
Probably not intentional, but on a map/viewed from above, stations 2, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 15 form a rough outline of a cross. The stations probably marked the perimiter of a termon. Later, the pattern merged with another centred on Leaba Cholmcille and Tobar Cholmcille to the west, to form the modern Turas.
Stad 15: For most pilgrims, the final stop on the #TurasCholmCille, in the graveyard of St Columba's Church of Ireland, #GlenColmCille. The top third of the cross pillar is broken and usually lies on the ground to the side of the main slab. You can see the dividing line of the break in the image.
