Took a risk and bought a used GoPro 2 from eBay. Came with the LCD Bac-pac and a cable. As well as an OEM battery.
Battery doesn't seem to hold a charge, but I expected that given that it was probably the original battery,
It needs a firmware update to get the ProTune video settings, but GoPro doesn't have those on their site any, more. Not super important as I don't really use it as a video camera, just time lapse.

With some recent gadget reorganisation I seem to have ended up with two spare 256GB #MicroSD cards. An amount of data storage I used to only dream about.
But now I need to look into any gadgets that I might need into which to put one/both. I don't like stuff sat around unused. I quite like the idea of a #GoPro or similar. Drones annoy me, so not one of those. Open to suggestions.

How to blackstamp my head in street-level images?

I just purchased an Insta360 X4 to create street-level images for Mapillary & Panoramax and took my first pictures with it. As much as I love my hair, I don't really want to see it in street pictures.

In other users' images, I often see a black circle or something similar where a head would normally be. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything quickly: Which image editing tool that can edit 360-degree images can I use to put a black stamp on my head before uploading the images?

WTF GoPro 😯
"We did a short video of photos on your smartphon. Have a look. You might want to share it."

Yes, i do have (still) a GoPro and therefore the App on my phon.
I did NOT want you to just make a video or whatever else you want with what is on my phon.

(Definitely not a video of nature with rap music as background. 🙄)
So 🖕🏻 you GoPro. (deleting app..)

I want to record videos with my GoPro HERO12 Black in 240 fps, but I won't because the quality changes drastically!

Take a look at the attached screenshots. The one to the left is 1080p 60 fps. The one to the right is 2.4k 240 fps.

You can clearly see that the screenshot to the right has more blur to it. Not good!

Last year, I recorded my entire trip to the best coast of Sweden in 1080p 120 fps and all footage got blurry.

I hate that!

Why is this happening?
