Ireland is getting a bottle deposit scheme to boost recycling and reduce #plasticwaste. This works great in Norway and elsewhere already, although we actually reuse the bottles directly. #GreenPartyIreland
So #GreenPartyIreland TD Roderic O' Gorman goes on national TV and says he doesn't agree with an assessment of the number of preschool and childcare that will close next year over rising costs because during his time as Minister the number of facilities closing has reduced.
Reduced.... But still closing, rather than opening.
This evening we are trying to tackle the lack of focus on the biodiversity crisis in Fingal. We have an ambitious draft Biodiversity Action Plan with 100 actions that would make a real impact but only the resources to prioritise 32 of them.
