And Ultra-Max is involved.</p><p>2️⃣ A new team of Guardians is formed, peopled by characters we know from the regular series. Their battle in this story is very much a by-the-numbers affair. Boring. They will appear again in a few issues of the regular series, before getting their own mini-series in 2 years. Briefly. Then they chat for 7 pages.</p><p>2️⃣ SS impresses. No matter what century. He’s easily the best thing about this issue. </p><p>3️⃣ The first 8 pages are character driven. Nice moments for all of the regulars.</p><p>4️⃣ Plenty of recapping/flashbacking in the final pages and the setting-up of a promising conflict. It’s a bit much.
