We ran People Before Profit candidates in Galway City East, Galway City West, and for Galway County Council in Ballinasloe for the first time.
Adrian Curran in Galway City Central even beat a sitting Councillor.

#SinnFein really messed up with their strategy to run so many candidates. It’s completely backfired on them with split votes.
I also think their recent views on immigration hasn’t helped them. Courting far right views isn’t going to work if you’re trying to promote yourselves as a progressive left party.

A humongous act of patience is now required from Irish political geeks as election results will be sloooow. Saturday, the first count details in the Local Election will be a while in arriving during the day. And counting for the EU Parliament will only start after 10pm Sunday.
The Limerick mayor election counting is not expected to begin until Monday. THE TALLYMAN COMETH
