Achja, TIL: Bei Lidl gehören Einkaufskörbe nicht mehr zur Geschäftsausstattung. Offenbar hat da noch niemand versucht, gleichzeitig einen Rollator und einen recht großen Einkaufswagen vor sich her zu schieben. Einen Korb hätte ich mir vorn auf den Rollator stellen können.

In dem Laden, in welchem mir das heute Vormittag aufgefallen war, erfuhr ich, daß sich schon mehr Leute beschwert hätten. Man solle diese Beschwerden aber an die Geschäftsleitung schicken, weil das mehr bringen würde, als wenn die Laden-Leitungen das weitergeben.

probably a consequence of hanging out with a few #motoring journalists on here and reading a lot of such articles - but in #LIDL earlier I was using one of those large blue baskets on wheels and thinking "handling on this one is no good at all, its unbalanced and there is way too much body roll" (indeed, I nearly tipped it straight over, and I wasn't going through the shop excessively fast - it seemed a fair bit worse than others I had used)

#Lidl are running (at least in #Scotland) a #promotion - buy anything and you get a #free #pastry. Now I happen to combine purchasing some small #vegetables or #fruit almost every day, cooking for myself at the moment and liking a fresh choice. I also get in 20 miles or so every day on a #bike, having a little more time and happen to pass a shop which always has good if limited fresh fruit and veg
