#JohnCleese seems to think his character, Reg, in #LifeOfBrian is the sole voice of reason. John Cleese does not watch his own movies, because Reg is a cowardly, self important, twat. Also, Reg does actually come around on the issue Cleese was spouting off on, and in a rare show of humanity is eventually affirming of a specific character.

i grew up in Puerto Rico. it wasn’t normal for anybody to watch Monty Python ―it was the ONLY broadcast tv past midnight.
so had to explain to him how i’d sneak a peek of late night tv because of insomnia and had been a fan for years.
my da was a Civil Rights activist in NYC in the 60s, so he was like, alright, let’s do this. he enjoyed the irreverence. #comedon #LifeOfBrian
