Ahora que estoy a punto de acabar la lectura de #ladoctrinadelshock de #naomiklein, tengo algunas consideraciones al respecto.
1- que lo que #miltonfriedman hizo, como tantísimos otros, fue formular una teoría absolutamente absurda, pero recubierta de una retórica que la hacía parecer novedosa, y con ella hizo carrera toda su vida, incluso llegando a ganar el Premio Nobel de Economía en 1976. Otro ejemplo de lo mismo, en mi modesta opinión, es Howard Gardner, que cogió algo que ya existía, le cambió el nombre, y con eso pudo hacer carrera, y de paso nos jodió la vida a los docentes durante algunos años.
2- contrariamente con lo que pasó con #karlmarx, si #friedman hubiera recibido el mismo tratamiento mediático que el alemán, seguramente se habría metido en su casa y no habría vuelto a salir nunca más. Afortunadamente, como las teorías del #neoliberalismo benefician a los de siempre, Friedman siempre tuvo una alfombra roja a sus pies y un micrófono delante para decir todo lo que quiso, por disparatado que fuera.
3- también, comparando a Friedman y a #marx, todos aquellos que responsabilizan a Marx y al #marxismo (o a #Lenin y al #leninismo) de millones de muertes (y me estoy refiriendo al repetidísimo mantra de los cien millones de muertes atribuidos al #comunismo) jamás culparán ni a Friedman ni al neoliberalismo de todas las muertes y de todo el sufrimiento que sus ideas han provocado. Pero no os preocupéis, que los que estamos cegados por la ideología, los fanáticos, somos nosotros.

Am Ende beginnt der Kapitalismus, sich selbst zu zerlegen. Wenn keine neuen Märkte mehr zu erschließen sind und das Wachstum stockt, richtet sich das System gegen die Strukturen, die es einst getragen haben. Öffentliche Institutionen werden geschwächt, soziale Sicherheiten abgebaut – alles im Namen von Effizienz und Sparzwang. Besonders hart trifft es die, die ohnehin wenig haben: die Arbeiterklasse, die Armen, aber zunehmend auch die Mittelschicht.

Jobs verschwinden - Prozesse werden automatisiert. Die Reallöhne stagnieren, aber die Menschen sollen trotzdem konsumieren – also verschulden sie sich. Politik verkommt zur Statisterie, austauschbar und inhaltsleer, weil sie längst nicht mehr dem Gemeinwohl dient, sondern den Interessen von Konzernen und Vermögenden folgt.
Stück für Stück frisst sich das System durch die staatlichen Strukturen, von denen es paradoxerweise selbst abhängig ist. Es verschlingt öffentliche Mittel, verschärft soziale Ungleichheit und greift zu immer autoritäreren Mitteln, um seine Macht zu sichern.

Trumps Handelskriege und die forcierte Rückverlagerung von Produktion in die Vereinigten Staaten wurden als patriotische Maßnahmen verkauft – als Rückkehr zur industriellen Stärke. Doch tatsächlich entstehen keine Arbeitsplätze für Menschen, sondern automatisierte Megafabriken, von denen fast ausschließlich die Reichen profitieren. Die Produktionsmittel kehren zurück, aber nicht die Jobs.

Diese Entwicklung – dass der Kapitalismus am Ende nicht nur scheitert, sondern auch zerstört, was ihn möglich gemacht hat – wurde von Karl Marx bereits vor über 150 Jahren beschrieben. Auch wenn er in einigen Punkten Unrecht hatte und bei den Zeithorizonten maßlos danebenlag, sind seine Thesen keine bloßen zeitlosen Klassiker, sondern gerade heute wieder höchst aktuell.

Sus ideas, nos dicen, han matado a millones, establecido dictaduras asesinas y sumido a naciones enteras en la pobreza; entonces lo mejor es tenerlas muy lejos, como si de material radiactivo se tratase.

Human nature

The socialism we propose is radically different from the models that dominated the last century or from any statist or dictatorial regime: it is a revolutionary project, radically democratic, to which feminist, ecological, anti-racist, anti-colonialist, antimilitarist and LGBTQI+ struggles contribute.
Everyone could have a good life on Earth, but capitalism is an exploitative, macho, racist, warlike, authoritarian and deadly mode of predation. In two centuries, it has led humanity into a deep ecosocial impasse. Productivism is destructivism. The overexploitation of natural resources, rampant extractivism, the pursuit of maximum short-term yields, deforestation and land-use change are leading to a collapse of biodiversity, that is, of life itself.
