Today, my husband and I are getting together with our kids and their families to celebrate our older kid’s 40th birthday. Hard to believe that we have a #middleaged child. So fortunate that we’re both (as a neighbor used to say) still #perpendicular.
6 months taken, 15kg down!!
Today, I'm happy to report that I've gotten rid of the several years' worth of incremental middle-age creep that had found me.
Now, to keep it off!!!

Morning meetings out of the way, getting ready for an afternoon of focus time. Smelling the giant platter of roasting veg (broccoli, purple yam, brussel sprouts, peppers, onions, carrots, kale, zucchini, garlic - I'll build a grain bowl for lunch.)
Also: slipping Benson slices of purple yam. (Which he likes!! Boyo loves some raw root vegetables, apparently.)
Look at us.
Eating healthy things.
Think I might sod off to bed after The Last Leg; I'm knackered!

I've had painful tendinitis on the bottom of my right foot for a couple of weeks, and it's finally easing off ..... only for me to somehow sprain my left knee this morning. Seriously, don't get old unless you can afford to bathe in Ibroprufen gel!
