WoRDA osiągnęła porozumienie z FIA w sprawie przekleństw. Kary za przekleństwa nie będą nakładane za używanie wyrazów wulgarnych padających na onboardach podczas OS'ów, w wywiadach tuż po przekroczeniu linii mety i w rozmowach z załogą na dojazdówkach. Nadal przekleństwa są zabronione na konferencjach prasowych czy w media roomach, a także w kontekście obraźliwym skierowanym do innych osób.

Dla przypomnienia - sprzeciw WoRDA zaczął się po nałożonej karze dla Adriena Fourmaux, w efekcie czego kierowcy podczas rajdu Safari odmawiali wywiadów albo mówili tylko w swoim ojczystym języku. Wspomiane porozumienie jest jednocześnie zakończeniem protestu kierowców.
