The weirdest things need to be defensively legislated these days, but the Oregon Senate voted to make sure that informing someone of their rights is not illegal. The most interesting part of this news, to me, is that it passed with huge bipartisan support. On to the Oregon House.
To clarify: The ability to safely inform someone of their rights shouldn't even be a question. But here we are.
