argv minus one<p>The existence of SIGPIPE is…odd.</p><p>If SIGPIPE is ignored, then write() will raise EPIPE when trying to write to a broken pipe. So, at first glance, it seems that SIGPIPE is unnecessary.</p><p>A lot of simple C programs don't check if printf() returns an error, so if stdout is a pipe, then SIGPIPE will timely terminate these programs…but only if the error is EPIPE. awb<p>There is a surprising difference between GNU du(1) and the BSD version on macOS. The GNU version will not count files twice, so argument order matters.
