Our #PS3 has found new life lately as a #LittleBigPlanet machine as the #family is going back through the #game. It still has its original HDD and has been freezing lately if we change and save costumes, so I’m attempting to swap the HDD with a SSD. Haven’t done this before. Currently performing a #backup in hopes we don’t lose progress type stuff, but I suppose we’ll deal with lost progress if we need to.

If this doesn’t work, will #bazzite an #HTPC.

Here is mine with Skyrim on it thanks to the PSP/PSVita Remote Play feature on a jailbroken PS3!

Surprise, it sucks!

With only half the controls available compared to a regular DualShock 3, I can walk but not turn the camera, unsheathe my sword but not attack, pick spells from the menu but not use them, run but not crouch, and that all on a resolution of 480x272!

APS3E is a PS3 emulator for Android. Right now, it doesn't support vibration feedback on the phone. Like, having in-game vibration events sent to the phone's vibrator. So every time there's an update, I check for it.

Does this one vibrate?

*loads Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 and powers up* Are you feelin' it, Mr. Crabs? Are you feelin' it, Mr. Crabs? ... Nope. I feel nothing. I am void. I am oblivion!

Will this update do it for me? *Loads DBZ Raging Blast 2* Are you feelin' it now, Mr. Crabs? Huh? Feelin' the vibes? Nope. Still nothing.

Lol. I'll give it a few more months. It is the only PS3 emulator for Android that has an in-game screen TalkBack can focus on and describe, so that's why I use it over RPCSx. Also RPCSX doesn't even expose the game list to TalkBack so I have to suspend it and poke around like a blind man and hope I touched the right game. :)

@X00001 #Nintendo kicking #Switch2 devices off their network for #ToS violations is one thing, and like the #Xbox360 that is justifyable.

  • However remotely #bricking devices is not, as Nintendo does not own these devices legally when they are rightfully sold to a consumer.

Even #Microsoft of all corporations knew that they cannot cross that line, and merely exclude #consoles from #Multiplayer and #Purchases but still allowing people to play their games.

I am not affected and most certainly won't buy a #NSW2 / #SW2 for that reason alone.

Granted #Sony still won with the #PS3 compared to the #Xbox360 because at launch it was the cheapest #bluray player (just like the #PS2 was at launch one of the cheapest #DVD players).
