The Devil’s Possessed (1974) is a Paul Naschy movie based very loosely on the crimes of the infamous Gilles de Rais. Set in 15th century France it combines swashbuckling adventure with plenty of horror. Naschy is deliciously cruel and evil.

Count Dracula’s Great Love (1973), Spanish vampire film starring and written by Paul Naschy. Contrary to the popular critical view this is an excellent, intelligent, emotionally nuanced, clever, provocative, trashy, sleazy take on Dracula.

I am not much into hyperpole but FINDING DESPERADO may just possibly be the most riveting bit of podcasting out there ever. (Or at least in the last 3000 years.)

Researching some old Guinness book of world records trivia about the youngest feature film director, an obscure Dutch gentleman called Sydney Ling, the two presenters unravel a truly bogshit crazy mystery about one of the most fascinating fantabulists.

Gotta love this guy.

There's a witch and a curse and a werewolf who seeks to be cured of his lycanthropy. And a girl ninja!

Excellent surprisingly nuanced movie.
