Well that's two #matter lightbulbs connected via #homeassistant without having to mess around with other apps or cloud accounts. The only wrinkle is that for some reason (#playservices?) I need the #playstore version of the companion app. Otherwise I'm sold on it for future home automation devices.
Ich habe einen Threema-Account, den ich per google-play gekauft habe. Der google-account besteht nicht mehr und seit einiger zeit kann ein update der threema-app, die mit einem threema-account verknüpft ist, der mit einer google-id bezahlt wurde, auch nur aus dem play-store heruntergeladen werden, wenn spezifisch diese google-id angemeldet ist. Die Threema-app läuft aber nur, wenn die app upgedatet wurde.
Ich benötige also eine aktuelle threema.apk (installations-datei) aus dem play-store. Diese befindet sich entweder nach dem herunterladen aus dem play-store auf dem android-gerät oder kann aus einem installierten google-threema mit einem tool wie der app "APK Extractor" (oder vergleichbare tools) erzeugt werden.
Les applications #Android téléchargées hors du #PlayStore sont 50 fois plus susceptibles de contenir des logiciels malveillants. Et c'est #Google qui le dit.

Suche nach "Pixelfed".
Erstes vermeintliche Suchergebnis: Instagram. Als "Anzeige" klein gekennzeichnet. "Installieren" Button sieht wie normal aus. Habe Installieren automatisch gedrückt. Zum Glück gleich wieder abgebrochen.
Instagram hat wohl Angst....

You have probably seen this #viral #infographic on #eu #digitalsovereignty by #reddit user u/lukakopajtic. It was viral but not very accurate 
recommending #bluesky and #firefox as "EU alternatives"? How? Anyway, he just updated the infographic, and it's much, much better! Most issues have been corrected. I think there is still a couple of issues I disagree with: 1) recommending #matrix instead of #jabber #xmpp 2) recommending #lineageos instead of #grapheneos (but OK, I can understand this if the focus is on self-sovereignty only), 3) recommending #droidify instead of #accrescent (but, even here, I can understand if the goal is to replace #playstore ), and 4) recommending #thunderbird as a comparison to #gmail (nothing wrong with Thunderbird, but that's an email client, not a Gmail-like suite provider, I would have rather recommended #mailfence or #mailbox ). Kudos for the initiative though, the intentions are good!
