Janet<p>I made a sample cushion to see how the <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/MiniQuilt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MiniQuilt</span></a> might turn out. It’s a bit stiff (this often happens at small scale) but it works ok. I might wash it to see if it softens a little. Pleased with the points of the tiny triangles. catobelli<p>Does anybody have tips for hand tying quilts? <br>I'd love to know how you do it and your best tips!</p><p>I have a cotton top, a thin layer of batting and an already quilted nicky back. catobelli<p>Currently sewing an impromptu applique quilt for a dear friend. I'm visiting them soon + the deadline is TIGHT! Fnished the stitching for all appliqued pieces last night, and managed to stitch their dogs name today (due to little to no time). Tomorrow I can hopefully embroider all the words of affirmation I want to incorporate and then it's almost done!<br>I plan on hand tying the quilt instead of actually quilting.
