As we said months ago when the city council voted for this dragnet spy network, there are now people whose entire day and life will be on these cameras.

Each of these near neighborhood-wide deployments cover critical services and in some cases enough essential services that a person might be on camera everytime they leave home for years on end.

This is the ugliest soap I’ve ever made. The color is a gross green-ish gray with lots of soda ash (which i don’t really care about). Smells wonderful, though, thanks to the Shave and a Haircut scent from Brambleberry. Seems to be on the right path to being a good soap after a few more weeks of curing. 🤞

Soap 3x21 "Episode 3.21" ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ trakt.tv/comments/780979

TraktSoap 3x21 "Episode 3.21" review by RikerDonegalThe Burt storyline is the weak link here. Everything interesting is happening off-screen. That’s not the only problem with this storyline. Burt became Sheriff way too quickly. He mentioned it in one episode, ran for office in the next, and won in the next. Now he’s had to deal with a hostage situation? And we’ve seen none of it! Not seeing the standoff with the ex-Sheriff is particularly strange. It seems like a scene worth filming. Burt (the great Richard Mulligan) facing a gun-toting rival has the potential to be hilarious. But, for whatever reason, we don’t get to see it. Instead, Danny recaps it to Mary after the fact. Not funny. Jessica is told she only has weeks (or days!) to live. It’s too soon for another major character to be dying but this is very different to the recent Burt storyline. There are no laughs here. Katherine Helmond is excellent, and has some excellent (insightful) dialogue. The highlight this week is the Dutch-Corinne storyline. They are cute together and we want them to be happy but it wouldn’t be a soap opera parody if Eunice didn’t come back. And this is where she comes back, catching her boyfriend in bed with her sister! It’s a very funny scene in an otherwise laugh-free episode. _Spring 1980: ABC aired Soap in the middle hour of Thursday prime time after Barney Miller and before 20/20.
