Do they change frequently and are there any you've had for a lifetime?As for me, I get very interested in something and it could last for months or years but I nearly always burn out on it and move on.Some of my special interests over my 60 years have been (in no particular order):Tabletop RPGs - I published two with Chaosium. Don't game that way anymore.Crochet - I made blankets for most of the important people in my life, a couple for me, and two sweaters. Haven't touched the hooks in about a year now.Playing bass guitar - I taught myself how to play, joined an all-girl band that had some local fame, and lost interest. Haven't played in over 20 years.Languages - I went through a phase of trying to teach myself to read, write and speak Punjabi and Hindi but that one faded quickly. I know some words from all the Indian language films I watch but learning the new alphabets proved to be too much for me.Hermit crabs - I had a tankful for a few years and was heavy into researching diet. Had my own website that people would use as a reference. I love ethnological stuff like east European customs (I'm half romanian🇷🇴) but not only, lately I became obsessed with Sami culture (whom are still today oppressed by the nordic countries). I love tales from anywhere in the world, I am currently writting mine, one with a giant who wakes up with his heart missing ⛅. I draw, do clay, knit and crochet lover, and I am obsessed with insects 🪲 since I'm a child (I was killing them a lot but I know today it was a morbid curiosity, and I'm trying to make up for it I'm vegan 😭).Special interests fill my heart with joy, and for that I'm grateful I am <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/actuallyautistic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#actuallyautistic</a> (of course it is not always easy, you know what I mean).
