There are some very funny moments. The best is probably McCoy&#39;s line: &quot; If the Enterprise had a heart, I&#39;d save her, too.&quot;</p><p>4️⃣ My 787th episode of <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/StarTrek" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>StarTrek</span></a>, out of 893.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/70sTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>70sTV</span></a></p>

Things become much more comedic when Mudd enters the story.</p>
RikerDonegal<p><a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/HarryO" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>HarryO</span></a> s1e11 &amp; s1e12 (1974) - 6/10</p><p>1️⃣ <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/CraigStevens" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CraigStevens</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/BroderickCrawford" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BroderickCrawford</span></a>: 15 years earlier they were laying down the law, on <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/PeterGunn" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>PeterGunn</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/HighwayPatrol" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>HighwayPatrol</span></a>, but in this 2-hour story they are causing all sorts of problems for <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/DavidJanssen" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>DavidJanssen</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/JoannaPettet" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>JoannaPettet</span></a>.</p><p>2️⃣ It’s a standard tale. Protagonist arrives in closed community, starts asking questions, gets in trouble for it. This <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/StephenKandel" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>StephenKandel</span></a> script doesn’t add much you haven’t seen before. There’s a bland love story in the mix.</p>
