So excited for tonight’s film. 1944’s Murder My Sweet starring Dick Powell as Philip Marlowe. I don’t think i have seen this. Powell can get gritty. Robert Mitchum’s Marlowe is my favorite. Bogart is good but the chemistry between him and bacall is what makes the big sleep 1946. Eliot Gould is my least favorite Marlowe—never got his appeal (aside from MASH 1970 but that’s Sutherland chemistry there )

Always a delight to watch Hot Millions with comedians and comic actors on #TCM Peter Ustinov plays an embezzler who joinsTa-Can-Co, a computer finance firm from Tacoma WA with a London office. His pill popping boss is Karl Malden, rival is Bob Newhart and sweetheart/partner in crime Maggie Smith. Cameos with Caesar Romero, Robert Morley, and since this is a 1968 film, the [Beatles’] Apple Store where Smith gets 2 trendy tunics and beads.

I just shoveled some wet, heavy snow (which I should never have to do for how expensive our monthly fees are and the fact that they SAY they do it, pfft), and now I'm relaxing and thawing out as I watch #Camelot. Yet again I'm reminded of the fact that #RichardHarris is far too gorgeous to handle.
