I like to deploy my colours selectively. IRL can be so flashy. I think pink is the most complicated. It is such a symbolically heavy colour that it needs to fit. In this cover design, it still tilts towards purple, but it's the closest I've got and illustrates this rather will. That constant pressure to conform was suffocating. So, I started writing. Since I am dyslexic, it had no expectations. It was just for me, and that gave me such profound freedom. In my stories, girls get their mother's first name as their last name. So, my MC is Freya Ophelia.Which has set me on a quest to discover what my last name would be if it were passed down matrilineally.
