Richard Martin-Nielsen<p>I have not kept track of anniversaries but I have been lucky that my younger child watched <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Hogfather" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hogfather</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TheColourOfMagic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheColourOfMagic</span></a> with us at New Year’s (the Sky adaptations) and then wanted the books. So we have read The Colour of Magic and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TheLightFantastic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheLightFantastic</span></a> and now have skipped and hopped and ended up with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/WeeFreeMen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WeeFreeMen</span></a><br>My accents are appalling but it great fun to read aloud and I can usually mask when my eyes tear up or there’s a toad (possibly once a lawyer) caught in my throat. <br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GNUTerryPratchett" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GNUTerryPratchett</span></a></p>

It's been a long time since a book made me laugh out loud while reading it.</p><p>Better late than never, I guess.</p>
