Just rewatched the 2008 Hulk movie with a younger family member who's also a big Hulk fan. Once again I find myself lamenting Edward Norton's decision not play Bruce Banner in the subsequent MCU movies. Can anyone name a notable role he's played since?
Mark Ruffalo does a serviceable job. But I still imagine Norton sparking off Downey Jr or Scarlett Johansson like he did with Brad Pitt did in Fight Club. What a missed opportunity.

…they are constantly moving it forward. Love the smart callbacks to #TheIncredibleHulk and #TheEternals. Honestly, it's hard to find fault with this movie. It's not #TheWinterSoldier. But it's silly to expect it to be, when it's very clearly not trying to be that. I'll go again this week-end to see it. 2/2

TraktThe Incredible Hulk 4x07 "Fast Lane" shout by RikerDonegalDick O'Neill. Quite a comedown from the previous episode but still an above-average effort. Two things let it down: there’s a lot of post-production editing and dubbing to tell the story (which I hate), and one of the story threads stops well before the end of the story and goes completely unresolved. Basically, David winds up driving a car full of mob money and two sets of bad guys (one sympathetic, one not) are after it. He’s also got a passenger with unrelated problems of her own. All of these characters are well fleshed out, which means it’s the second episode in a row with reduced screentime for Bixby. The location filming and stuntwork are good, and add a lot to the episode. _January 1981: CBS aired The Incredible Hulk in the first hour of Friday prime time before The Dukes of Hazzard. Against it, NBC had Harper Valley P.T.A. and Sanford while ABC aired Benson and I’m a Big Girl Now._ 7/10

Every detail of this story has been well thought-out. It’s an impressive episode. The villain is the focus for much of the runtime, partly because Bill Bixby is the director but it also makes for effective storytelling. Second of eight appearances for Jack Colvin as Jack McGee in season four (production order). He’s unambiguously a heroic character here. He probably saves the Hulk’s life at the end.
