Cainmark Does Not Comply 🚲

The storyline reminded me more of the Mar-Vell version in the comicbooks than what Carol Danvers usually dealt with, with the Kree-Skrull conflict and the hard choices that had to be made.

I've always liked Teyonah Parris' performances and she did a great job as Monica Rambeau and her personal uncertainty and inner strength and intelligence.

@dcrooks I saw some of the later posts before this one - and I follow some ill people so my brain read this hashtag as M Cure Watch rather than MCU Rewatch to start with and I was a little perplexed. Enjoy the journey! I thoroughly enjoyed

Will probably do a full rewatch ourselves later in the year - although a Buffy one is also overdue - too many great rewatchables, too little time

Watched #TheMarvels earlier. It's nowhere near as bad or disappointing as everyone made out. A slightly better director and I think it would've banged. Because all it needed was some script tweaking and a couple of the scenes re-shot to be tighter/acted better. Oh and the power scaling fixed, because WTF happened there. But overall, it was enjoyable. #MCU
