Dave Rowlands<p>Something I often hear from my fellow <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/atheists" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>atheists</span></a> and <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/skeptics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>skeptics</span></a> is that they can no longer enjoy <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/horror" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>horror</span></a> films about the supernatural, or related to religious themes. I've been an <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/atheist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>atheist</span></a> and horror fan my entire life, and still enjoyed horrors based around these themes. Films like <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/TheOmen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheOmen</span></a>, <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/TheExorcist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheExorcist</span></a>, <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/TheProphecy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheProphecy</span></a> are some of my favourites. Same with a good ghost story, or a good werewolf film. We discuss this idea in this stream on <span class="h-card"><a href="https://masto.nu/@AnswersInReason" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>AnswersInReason</span></a></span>.</p><p><a href="https://youtu.be/p1GsiEs4BbY" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">youtu.be/p1GsiEs4BbY</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
