So richtig Auftrieb hat das Format aber auch noch mal durch die Covid-Pandemie erhalten. Das Tolle an den Tiny Desk Concerts ist die Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre, in der professionelle Musiker unplugged die feinen Nuancen ihrer Kunst zeigen können. Im Video-Bestand von YouTube findet man sogar eine Tiny Desk Session von Taylor Swift. Ich weiß gar nicht, wann ich zum letzten Mal ein Album bewusst und komplett durchgehört habe. Eine Variation des Orpheus & Euridyke Themas, mit einer guten Schippe Gesellschaftskritik. Die Musik ist zum Sterben schön, Lyrics bei denen einem zum Teil das Blut in den Adern gefriert und das Ganze ist - gleichermaßen vorlagengetreu wie unamerikanisch - ohne Happy End.</p>
