🇬🇧 Since April 20th was not only the 35th anniversary of the #FireEmblem series, but also the 20th anniversary of FE: Path of Radiance, I found myself thinking back to this wonderful game again. In honor of this occasion, let me share an absolute gem from PoR's #soundtrack for #VGMWednesday: Life Returns!
Also known as the Galdr of Rebirth, it plays during the credits as well - and you can just picture the herons singing this ethereal, hauntingly beautiful song! 😊

#OCReMix's 2011 Grand Robot Master Remix Battle was a single-elimination contest for arranging music from classic #MegaMan. It included 3 submissions from Main Finger incorporating the theme from Napalm Man's stage plus whatever the competitor's was for that step of the tournament. vs. Chill Man was a bit of dubstep in the intro and outro, vs. Crash Man was more standard techno, but vs. Elec Man went for emulating Yuzo Koshiro's #StreetsOfRage soundtracks (with a Dr. Wily line performed by Scott McNeil thrown in). All 3 are on the arranger's Bandcamp site for free, but here's the link to "Bots of Rage."

🇬🇧 And thus, we arrive at my last #VGMWednesday post for #HomeworldDesertsOfKharak, and what better way to round this off than with the song that plays at the closure of the game!
The lyrics in the DoK credits #soundtrack are actually taken from the Shiva Tadav(a), a religious hymn dedicated to Shiva, god of both creation and destruction in Hinduism - an extremely fitting choice, given what's to come in #Homeworld 1. (Source: see comments below the video)

It's Monday so it's time for #MoodMusicMonday! Today's mood is "self-forgiveness".

Post a song/songs that you think fit "self-forgiveness"! It can be about self-forgiveness or written as part of a self-forgiveness process or something you listen to to forgive yourself or whatever.

There are no wrong answers, it's just an excuse to post music!

Remember to include the hashtag #MoodMusicMonday and the mood "self-forgiveness"

🇬🇧 We've got two more tracks to go for my #HomeworldDesertsOfKharak #VGMWednesday spotlights, and context-wise, we're also nearing the end game.
The rising stakes are audible in the #soundtrack as well: "Defend Rachel" plays during one of the most tense missions in the game, and it makes the desperation, tension, and determination feel literally palpable in the air. No matter what enemy you have to face: You'll see your mission to save your people through.
