Neue Ausnahmen geplant: Trump rudert bei Auto-Zöllen zurück
US-Präsident Trump macht einen weiteren Rückzieher in seiner Zollpolitik und stellt Autoherstellern Zoll-Ausnahmen in Aussicht. Für Medikamente kündigt er indes "in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft" Zölle an.

Das erste Mal Langstrecke mit dem #ID7 Pro an die Nordsee.
Erste Pause: 326km gefahren, Schnitt von genau 100km/h und 17,3 kWh auf 100km. Angekommen mit 22% und 107km Rest.
Vorkonditionierung funktioniert bestens. Der ballert mit 184kW beim Laden los.
Jetzt MC Donalds, während ich das schreibe hat das Auto schon wieder 63% im Akku. Auch mit #VW ist das Laden stressig schnell.

He's off to the engineer next week for initial assessment to get registered. I'll pick up some tyres for the wheels on Monday.
He's also finally in the Au DB for cars, after thirty years or so, which is a step in the process to registration

I have no idea how it works, but some clever sensor detects light sources in front of you and kind of "cuts a hole" in your main beam around them, so you don't dip your lights, but your lights "go around" the car you're following/crossing. They also follow the corners, a sort of fancy modern version of the turning headlamps in the Citroën DS. Fancy pants #VW stuff. 
*5 hours* out in the yard today to install new microswitch unit for #VW #DSG gear selector - whole entire centre console of #VWPolo had to come out - a bear of a job, especially removing a fiddly connector for the USB and getting it over the handbrake lever). Switch fitted and then it all has to go back together.
At least now I don't have "error: workshop! Leave vehicle only in position P" randomly coming appearing and USB music playback still works #CarMaintenance #AutoRepair #bladibarsket
