Pupdate: VVC is home from the hospital. A little sensitive & lethargic from the anesthesia, but she did great!
Her wellness check, pre-op, & post-op went as expected from the amazing, joyful, loving, & patient, curly bundle of happiness that she is.
I’m incredibly proud of her! She is sleeping now, and figure she’ll be that way for the next few days. Doctors sent her with meds so that should alleviate some of the discomfort.

Send love so we tell her about all the amazing Mastodenizens whose wishes are responsible for all the extra treats she gets when she gets home after and during recovery, and for being the goodest girl!

Having just lost my BFF of twelve years, I was lonely and broken. The breeder having heard of me losing my dog, asked if I would want to adopt a special needs curly shadow, and I fell for her immediately. I covered all the medical bills and brought her home.
She is training as a therapy doggy now, and just turned one. #VestaVeneraCaroli 
Our underbite babies are so special, I wouldn't have it any other way.

She saved my life in more ways than you could even begin to imagine and I’m incredibly grateful that I get to spend the rest of her life spoiling her for all of the happiness that she brings into our lives. Happy Barkday, baby girl!

I was going to stretch and try to catch some sleep, but Miss Snuffleupagus looks so comfortable that moving her would be a crime. Admiring how fast she’s transitioning from chocolate brown to roan.
Well, looks like I’m sleeping on the couch tonight. Worth it.

My dog was acting extra today.
She’s only six mo, so I thought ornery puppy. A while & no change later, I knew something wasn't right.
After spending an hr trying to figure out wtf was going on, I noticed that Luna was giving VVC a death stare, but was also trying to point me to the catnip balls.
At that point, I noticed chunks missing, and it downed on me.
MY DOG WAS STONED AND MY CAT WAS NOT HAVING IT
Yup! That’s it. That’s the spot.
