Eight players for #WarlordGames #BloodRedSkies in #Knoxville last night. The scenario was based on Killing Yamamoto from #WSSMagazine issue 118. I planned for four players, was ready for six, and had to improvise to squeeze eight in!! But we had fun! Both Yamamoto and Ugaki were shot down and died in the crashes.

Some of the goodies I picked up yesterday at the Exeter Legionary Wargames Show. Some classic 2nd edition Gretchin and Space Marine scouts, some Bolt Action Australians, and some of the classic paints, including Goblin Green.... let's hope they still work.

May - saw lots of variety in what I worked on, General Montrose for my #PikeAndShotte force, #WHFB Harry the Hammer, #StirRiverPatrol dinner scouts, and a test model for a #DarkElves force.
April 1/2 - so… in April, someone arriving but arriving very late meant there was lots of time for #Painting. They’ve made up for a late arrival by being a great wee buddy since. I started trailing out Zenithal for the first time on #StirRiverPatrol/#Mordheim minis, completed my first regiment of Montrose Irish for #PikeAndShotte and painted Montrose’s horse!
March - #PikeAndShotte continued to build up steam for me. Adding lots of units, and starting to paint the Montrose Irish, including being an idiot and wanting to paint tartan blankets on them.
Almost done with these kitbashed #ManticGames marauder #miniatures for #Firefight, along with some stray #warlordgames Saxon thegns that needed painting. Clearing the decks so I can get back to 15mm and work on two #ADLG projects, Galatians and Hebrews.
This is old news at this point, but I wanted to chime in ‘cause people were worried that Hornby will outright buy Warlord and I think that’s entirely possible. Remember—whether you thought it was good or not—John Stallard was 1/3 of the people that lead the buyout of GW.
