We’ve just had 40-50+ minutes of constant thunder rumbling east of the village.

A couple lightening flashes in it too.

I can’t remember last time I heard it go on that long consistently. Amazing.

Red Cans and Boat Plans

Twenty years ago, I visited Baltimore in Co Cork and photographed these people coming from a boat in the harbour. They were in great form, with smiles all around. 🙂

A new one for me, I haven’t the likes before. If confirmed, a rare visitor apparently. Maybe very rare to these hedgerows.

It stopped on a branch, I stopped on my bike. We looked across at each other for a moment.

I’m going to cycle out there again today, see if I can get another sighting and hopefully a photo for confirmation.

For now, it’s the closest match I can find.

Even at 3-500 metres from where I was sat on the cliff, the fin was still distinctly visible.

Friend’s were out kayaking here the day before when they found themselves amongst Basking Sharks & Minke Whales. “The plankton was fizzing”.

While they were out one of the local whale Watching boats arrived.
