The West Lothian area has 53 category A listed buildings on #wikidata. Ochiltree Castle has a #wikipedia article.

@ainali @wikimediaDE I don’t see how you would arrive at the consensus that tools of relevance to the Wikidata community wouldn’t be notable enough to be included in Wikidata. Clearly they are sui generis notable to a significant number of people. In addition they easily satisfy the following criterion:
> It refers to an instance of a clearly identifiable conceptual or material entity that can be described using serious and publicly available references.
End-of-week "fun" with #SPARQL & #tidyverse: Checking whether #CoVID had/has an impact of the life expectancy of (famous/relevant) people listed in #Wikidata.

Was just watching a recording of the second day of #Wikimania in #Nairobi and happened on a #Wikidata presentation. A member of the audience suggested a tool registry to be implemented on top of Wikidata during the Q&A. As comments are disabled for the recordings (on YouTube), I would like to mention our modest effort at building exactly such a tool registry for the #DigitalHumanities.
The project website can be found at https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_DH_Tool_Registry

@stuartyeates ah, I am glad you ask :)
I have a solution I have been working with, the Citation Typing Ontology, see https://chem-bla-ics.linkedchemistry.info/tag/cito
Specifically, with #wikidata examples, check these posts:

#KDE Itinerary just got showcased by @nightrose at #Wikimania2025 in Nairobi for its #Wikidata use: https://youtu.be/WaWk6hNGRrk?t=1043s
@wikidata Lydia talking about challenges in #Wikidata #Wikimania
it covers a good number of helper scripts that enrich your @wikidata experience. Some I already know, like the script to duplicate an item, or the one that converts URLs into external identifiers.
But the video shows quite a few more cool #wikidata scripts to quickly add more references and external identifiers to Wikidata items
At #Wikimania2025 today? Don’t miss the #Wikidata sessions:
Full schedule: https://wikimedia.eventyay.com/talk/wikimania2025/schedule/
At 10:30 - 10:55 (Room Nairobi & online), @Nightrose tackles a key question: “We want our data to be reused. But do we really?” Session info: https://wikimedia.eventyay.com/talk/wikimania2025/talk/NAPHP9/
watching the recording of last week's LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_LD4_Wikidata_Affinity_Group) session, and just 10 minutes into the talk, already learning a few new #wikidata tricks :)
For anyone who's wondering about this (#)interview you can find the interviewee Lydia Pintscher (Q18016466)
on the fediverse!
The Wikidata item also shows this as data:
Mastodon address = nightrose@mastodon.online
COOL STUFF!

If you liked what you learnt why not give Lydia a follow?
Stephen Harrison ain't on the fediverse so no way to give a follow to him.
commendable...
By personal experience I never "understood" Wikipedia...but I perfectly understand data in Wikidata.
It's easy to add, just recently I added some founders of NodeBB(which got ActivityPub and thus fediverse support)
If anyone needs any help with wikidata just ask me.
I'll be happy to help you learn how to use Wikidata and I'll answer any questions you may have.
a good interview about #wikidata .. I'm a big fan of it and occasional contributor. I often suggest to laypeople that they make a wikidata profile about someone who doesn't have a #wikipedia article, even if it seems daunting to create an article to someone who has never done it, the wikidata record will make a placeholder and potentially lead to someone else making an article later.
