Friends I'm in need of advice, I ask you to help me with my evening plans because I'm having trouble pairing my selection of wines with this particular movie. I'll also be enjoying a bag of jalapeno flavored Cheese Puffs.
It's quite difficult for me to pair gratuitous nudity with fine wine so please help if you have experience as a sommelier even if you aren't actually certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas. Thank you in advance.

Last weekend I enjoyed hosted an event focused on BIPOC owned wineries for our Wine Pairing Weekend blogging group.

Here's my featured pairing: Jerk Chicken Pasta with "Bottoms Up" Riesling based blend from Willamette based Maison Noir Wines.

The article has the recipe & links to an interview I did with winery owner & nationally recognized #sommelier, André Hueston Mack.

Keeping it simple. Grilled chicken leg/thigh w whole roasted carrots and carrot top pesto. Passetoutgrains. The Burgundy Pinot Noir - Gamay blend I'm turning to more and more because it's delicious and versatile and has excellent pedigree usually, like this one from Domaine Georges Lignier.

I love Gamay. The #wine world loves Gamay. Loves it so much, they keep trying to convince the rest of the world they should love it. Much of the rest of the world doesn't love it, or even like it...and that's ok. This blend may help.

I said turning to it more and more, didn't I? I fibbed. I turn to it more when I can find it, but with only 3% of Burgundy planted with Gamay, it's tougher to find. I found one in enough quantity for my wine club a while back but it wasn't easy to find the amount I needed.

Fortunately, there are some really lovable odes to this #redblend coming from CA, OR, the Loire and elsewhere. #winepairing #passetoutgrain #whyieatanddrinkathome

I love trying new wines! The latest I cover on Cooking Chat is a white Greek #wine made from the Kydonitsa grape. My contribution to a Wine Paring Weekend blogging event on the theme "New to You Grapes".

Have been tracking different grape varietals for quite a few years...harder to find new ones after crossing the 300 mark!

For our latest Cooking Chat article, I joined fellow Italian Food, Wine & Travel writers exploring Sicily this month.

I opened a Chardonnay from Sicily (which I was surprised to come across). It was very good paired with our new air fryer salmon recipe, as well as the pasta with red lentils and ginger we served with it.
