CTNET<p>📢 New blog post alert! 📢 Just published a beginner-friendly guide to permanent notes, the foundation of the Zettelkasten method. If you're new to PKM and want to build a powerful knowledge system, this is for you! <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Zettelkasten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Zettelkasten</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/PKM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PKM</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Obsidian</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/NoteTaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NoteTaking</span></a> <a href="https://www.ctnet.co.uk/beginners-guide-to-permanent-notes/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">ctnet.co.uk/beginners-guide-to</span><span class="invisible">-permanent-notes/</span></a></p>
nuzcraft :godot:<p>Gonna start working on a zettelkasten for gamedev. Writing Slowly<p>An atomic note isn’t just about ideas; it’s about time. Start smaller, stop sooner, and your notes become easier to reuse and connect. ✍️<br>Post here: The shortest writing session that could possibly work.</p><p><a href="https://aus.social/tags/NoteTaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NoteTaking</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/KnowledgeWork" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KnowledgeWork</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/zettelkasten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>zettelkasten</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/writingtips" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>writingtips</span></a> <a href="https://writingslowly.com/2024/09/11/the-shortest-writing.html" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">writingslowly.com/2024/09/11/t</span><span class="invisible">he-shortest-writing.html</span></a></p>
CTNET<p>What are your go-to strategies for managing information overload? I'm exploring this in my upcoming blog post. Ilpo Nyyssönen<p>I have been reading about <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Zettelkasten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Zettelkasten</span></a>. One take from it to <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/GTD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GTD</span></a> is that when clarifying captured notes, rewrite them. This should improve the quality of the notes. This also allows combining or splitting the original notes. This is something I haven't seen suggested in GTD texts.</p>
tariq<p>Moving has been really good for me because it’s provided me a new opportunity to completely change a lot of habits I’ve been wanting to change for a while. Once I’ve been trying to do for a while is updating my notetaking. I’ve been trying the <a href="https://absolutelyhar.am/tags/Zettelkasten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Zettelkasten</span></a> method in <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mas.to/@obsidian" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>obsidian</span></a></span> but I think what will help me is to start simple.</p>

DEVONtechnologies<p>Tip of the day: Sometimes a visualization is helpful to see the connections between things, e.g., between different documents. One of our intrepid community members created a script for <a href="https://mastodon.devontechnologies.com/tags/DEVONthink" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DEVONthink</span></a> that allows you to generate a network graph showing interconnecting links between documents.
