Emily Kemper<p>We saw "The Fall Guy" last night in the movie theater. Highly recommend!!! An homage to stunt actors, it was so much fun. I was on the edge of my seat for most of it, and a few times I flinched when the action got really intense. And it was funny! Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt have more charisma in their little fingers than most actors do in their whole bodies. Nick Garlick<p>A favourite film a day for 365 days: Sorcerer.</p><p>1977 remake of the 50s French film The Wages of Fear, about truckers driving a cargo of nitroglycerine through dangerously unstable jungles.<br>As good as it was, I like this even more. Nick Garlick<p>A favourite film a day for 365 days.</p><p>A lament for the lost best dreams of the 60s. A journalist asks a sailor friend to smuggle 2 kilos of heroin back from Vietnam to the USA. But they're sold out to a corrupt policeman by the drug dealers and their plan turns to dust. Lost individuals in the wake of a lost war. Very 70s. Pretty gloomy too.
