I was going through my photos to make a Muppet album so i could keep them all in one place and was struck by how different he looks.

The day we met him to a few weeks back. We assume he was matted and such, since he was so closely shaved.

He was so strung out and anxious. That first meeting he paced the enclosure the entire time, never stopped for more than a second or two.

So glad we met him.

I pulled him from doggie death row at the shelter yesterday. This will buy him time, and hopefully, I can find a good home for him. Just the sweetest boy. Sadly, every day, thousands just like him are euthanized at shelters. I pet Shelby. She is up for adoption at Cedar Bend Humane Society in Waterloo, IA. She has been at the shelter for 327 days! Shelby was surrendered by her family when they moved and couldn’t find a place that allowed dogs. She is a sweet, loving, goofy dog. She loves balls and is so happy when she gets one she doesn’t want to let it go.
