"In terms of racial identity, white Americans have had the choice of being something vague, something unraced and separate from race. A capitalized "White" challenges that freedom, by unmasking Whiteness as an American racial identity as historically important as "Blackness" — which it certainly is."

Look, you are either #antiracism or you're #antiracist - the difference being: are you a Daryl Davis or not?

Some seem to think that #hate will win against hate, that the only solution is to fight fire with fire. But as my mother always said, fighting fire with fire burns the whole forest down.

Know that what Mr Davis did was point out the obvious: #racists are just confused and scared human beings. You can win them over, they can be helped.

But it's all about #psychology.

Great to be out on the streets of Galway marching with comrades of all colours, creeds, and kinds standing against racism, discrimination, imperialism, and colonialism. A huge thanks to Galway Communities Against Racism and Discrimination for organising it. We have a world to win and that means standing up against discrimination and oppression and changing the system which facilitates it, Capitalism.
