I am looking for something to sink my money and time once again. Is there anyone out there that can mentor me achieving long dreamt #RC #airplane world today?

Specifically I am hoping to print my own delta wing and use #ardupilot to make autonomous orthophotography. I am lost how I can get into this best with limited budget.

My new #readymaderc STRIX Stratosurfer is built (except for the servo linkages). Matek H743-WLITE running #ardupilot, M9N GPS + compass, airspeed sensor. Thinking I'll add a LIDAR rangefinder to the belly to see if automated landing works. But I'll be flying it mostly in fully manual mode because watching it gently glide across the sky under my control is so satisfying and relaxing. #radiocontrol #radiocontrolplane #rcplane

Fascinating to see the #RaspberryPi Zero W2 with #RaspberryPiOS freeze up beyond any hope when communicating with any #ArduPilot hardware (Cube Orange, mRo control zero, Matek, ...) via USB. No/less problems via USB-FTDI or UART.

We're approaching the conclusion that ArduPilot must send some data sequence that uniquely knocks our the Rpi Zero. Big Pi, no problem, other firmware on the autopilot, no problem.

Siis, foorumit on pullollaan juttuja vuosien takaa kun ne on maksaneet kymppejä.

Nyt ei löydy montaakaan mallia joka olis alle 100e ja kalleimmat maksaa melkein tonnin.

Mitä hittoa?!

Harkinnassa olisi SpeedyBeeF405WING ihan käypään 70€ hintaan, mutta ardupilot wikin mukaan siinäkin on liian vähän muistia kaikkiin ominaisuuksiin.

- Kuvaa lennokin kamerasta
- Käyttää groundcrontrol softaa seuraamiseen ja ohjaamiseen
- päästä alkuun helposti
