Fishing Day — my new mixed-media artwork
An exploration of memory, nostalgia, and the textures of nature...
This piece blends painting with found objects, layered fabrics, and textured elements to recreate the feeling of a crisp autumn day by the lake. The warmth of fading foliage meets the quiet shimmer of water — and somewhere in between, a story unfolds.

Hello Autumn! It's my native season. I really like this view from my window while I'm working on my laptop. Sometimes I look out at the yard, and the view triggers memories and reflections. The quietest season, the transition from the fire of summer to melancholy and depth. The trees withdraw their sap back into their roots, and in the same way, my heart and mind become inward-looking. My bipolar brain calms down and serenity arrives.
