There is a #Jazz #Beergarden right outside of #Munich, high above the Isar valley, and I'm digging it. 
My dad was a huge Jazz fan, so sitting here and eating Spareribs or Steckerlfisch while listening to live music is one of my oldest memories I have.
Here's my question:
Why do we (UK residents) call them Beer Gardens?
Do other countries have a similar word?
Why isn't Pub Garden used instead?

When I'm really organized, I make table top beer gardens to hand out to the neighbors for summer holidays and picnics using whatever cans I happen to have on hand. I must make it a point to do more of this...
This Saturday, July 15, Bend’s #DeschutesBrewery is hosting its #DamnTastyBeerFest at its #BeerGarden next to the production brewery. It takes place from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., and will feature a host of Central Oregon breweries in addition to Deschutes.
