1) Open email in window,
2) click button that says "read aloud"

She is not blind yet, this would be like training wheels to get her use to using a screen reader while she can still see a little.

think like #bigcorp and the answer is obvious. I've had store ask, on a 18.15 bill if I want to round up to 19$.
some places now want direct access to you bank account so they can just take what ever they want. price increases are automatically added.

TL;DR
most bigCorp email contain an image that is very small, 1x1 pixel.
When you open the email your email manager will request the image and at that point the #bigCorp knows where you are and you are giving them information to identify you in the future.

A few months ago there was a firefox update that introduced AI something something and there were a bunch of people posting about what to turn off and how. (🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼)

I have since had another firefox update and an android update, and y'all I am so fucking tired of this world. I want to escape this shit so badly but I don't have the mental energy to keep up with this shitshow. 😩

What's the plan? We're all gonna turn off those features with every update? Are there add-ons for this already? Do I need a monthly scheduled anti-ai checklist?

folk should understand that the "#smartPhone" is really just a #dumb terminal.

You data is stored on #bigCorp servers and they control who get it. The BigCorps will allow you to see it if you keep paying them and they will allow anyone else who pays them to also see it.

What they dont do, ever, is erase it. When you "erase" it, all they do is stop showing it to you. They consider your data to be their asset and they sell it to anyone.

We need to ask; "when does my data become their asset?"

want to reform the H1B and keep good engineer, remove the restriction that they are tied to one corp.

Mobility of labor is a right,

That right is taken away from H1B and that then allows exploitation.

right now the law enables exploitation and gives the billionaires cheap labor.

It is the restriction that they can only work for one specific #bigCorp at whatever terms the bigCorp specifies that is the problem.

The people that we hire to operate our government are trying to say one #bigCorp can collect the data but others can not collect it.
That will not work.
We must regulate and control all corps that are collecting data independent of what country they are in.
#FLOSS goes long way in giving us the tools
