Is it odd that my thought now is that I must go and sniff #Banbury again? (-:

It is amusing that something being the Bull Inn on Sheep Street really does not narrow things down for this country. So many Sheep Streets!
It's an area between Bourton OTW and Kidlington that I have not really travelled very much. If I'm passing that way, I usually take the M40+A34 or the A422 so never get really into it.
Winding the windows down when passing #Banbury on the M40. One used to be able to smell the biscuit factory from the motorway. Not for quite some years, now, though.
Websites were 'cuter' back in 2003.
"So the verdict? Well the Tim Tam is a classy little biscuit, it tastes great and its insubstantial nature affords the sucking of tea and coffee through it by Australian songstresses, the infamous Tim Tam Slam.
"However, the mighty Penguin offers a more of a satisfying mouthful and its greater bulk elevates it from treat to a snack. We would suggest that there is something to learn from both biscuits and if haven't tried one or the other then seek it out.
"If you've tried neither then you're probably American and there we shall leave it."

Today is a #baking day and we're focusing on #biscuits!
Mine kinda lean here and there but at least they've always got a good rise and a good flake. I don't think my foremothers would turn up their noses at these.
Most of today's batch is getting turned into sausage breakfast sandwiches, wrapped in foil, and kept for workday grab'n'go breakfast for everyone.
They are 100x better than anything you could get in the grocery freezer section.
(Recipe below.)
I wonder why Arnotts called their Oreo copy “Delta Cream” that when then created back in the 1950s/60s. #Australia #biscuits
Almost sunny out but windy (duh!) so decided to contemplate my mortality briefly with an Assam tea and a coconut biscuit. #SimpleThings #Tea #Biscuits
@michaelmagras Back in the UK in the early nineties I worked in an office where mid-morning, tea-ladies would wheel a trolley around with big urns of tea and you’d each get a cup. And I think one or two biscuits too.
I need to try these, for science ...
(Anyone actually had one?)
Did you know that kitties have elbows? They do, and they are sharp little bones covered by extremely flexible skin. Ada likes to make #biscuits on my thigh while digging her elbow back and forth along the muscle. It hurts, but if I make her stop, she'll probably leave altogether, so I must endure. #cat #catsofmastodon

Biscuits by Kacey Musgraves
We are delighted to discover our own Marie has a biscuit named after her. Our friends know how dear biscuits are to every member of the bookshop.
New batch of biscuits. Approximately coconut roughs (because no recipe was used, I just made it up as I went).
They are light, crispy and coconuty. Yes, there are indeed two missing.
Coconut biscuits this morning (28 was 30).
I would just like to say that the Co Op Delightfully Dunkable Ginger Nuts really are delightfully dunkable in a nice cup of Yorkshire Tea Gold.
(Got them from the Scottish & Irish store and they cost less than a box of Canadian cookies).
@stopthatgirl7 I knew this talk of #biscuits and #gravy must be a non-UK thing, but before I looked it up to check this was what came to mind. Not the most appetising meal I have to say.
@trending As an #Appalachian, all I have to say is.... pass the #biscuits.
