Canada needs to scrap our trade war with China. "Ottawa last October imposed a 100% tariff on imported Chinese electric vehicles, and a 25% tariff on Chinese steel and aluminum imports. China imposed a 100% tariff on certain Canadian canola products and on peas, and 25% tariffs on selected Canadian fish, seafood and pork products. I'm actually surprised that the dramatic spike in #OliveOil prices hasn't encouraged more stores in the US to begin or resume stocking of cold-pressed unrefined #canola oil (or #rapeseed oil, if you are from the EU). It's one of #Canada's best #culinary products.

My local co-op store in #Vermont used to carry it, but they no longer do.

* check food pkg fo: HFCS; corn syrup; glucose-fructose; fructose-glucose
* corporations put it into literally everything they can
* min. consumption of processed foods

* generally consume natural over (corporate) synthetic:
butter not margarine
lard not Crisco
olive oil (EVOO; source carefully re: counterfeits) not canola (processed junk)

Went for a long drive today.
