I'm mostly happy with what he's done since the election, with criticisms to be sure. Yes, I think he's handling the Americans reasonably well, though we don't yet know the details of any trade agreement that may be struck. (For that matter, we don't know what the budget will look like.)</p><p>But that's me. For those on the Left, this must be disappointing, surprising even.</p>

The impacts have been understood and explained for many decades. The problem is that governments have not acted. They have not acted because fossil fuels interests have spent billions to sow mis- and disinformation. They have ‘bought’ and control parties like the <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/CPC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CPC</span></a>.
