This week what I made was... Progress! We had road trips last weekend and this weekend, so I had some quality cat-scarf time, and it's starting to actually look like a scarf. 
Soon I'll figure out whether the four skeins of yarn I bought will get me to my target length... I'm thinking I may need to pick up a couple more. Which normally would be a good excuse to hit up my local yarn shop, but I just kitted up for five new projects in an online yarn-shop sale, so I need to stay away from temptation for a while. 
Alright science enjoyers, I have collected some data for us 
Ordered the yarn on Sunday, still feeling absolutely terrible.
Package arrived Tuesday around noon, later that day I managed to record a short video for Ko-fi members, and by that night OH was saying "you sound a lot less cough-ey".
Next few days, made sure to pet the yarn and look at the yarn and take photos of the yarn. A lingering cough remains, and my voice took a while to come back but otherwise the recovery seems complete.
Things definitely took a turn for the better on Tuesday, that's all I'm saying.
Gonna make these slippers!

Does anybody have a written pattern for these paw print coasters?
My bestie sent me a Pinterest link that produced nothing after clicking a bunch of links that promised a video pattern at the end, which then wasn’t shared.
I do better with written patterns, better yet if there’s a cheat sheet for the abbreviations (native Finnish speaker who rarely actually crochets with patterns anyway).
I have 1200 yards of nice thick 100% wool, 2 ply from BarlettYarn in Maine. Should I make a squishy rug and felt it, or a cozy couch blanket (and also probably felt it)?
I never have large quantites of a single yarn, so I want to make something substantial, instead of lots of small things. #knitting #crochet #yarn #FiberArts
