TanjaThe details in that beauty are great, I love all the structure. Lots of bobble stitches in variations. (.... though not as many as in my current WIP) I remember I made this shawl for a MAL over on Ravelry (Make-Along) with the topic Earth and my inspiration was Sedona. The pattern itself was also a CAL (Crochet Along) by the Designers, but I made it later. In any case - I love the composition of this pattern. Bonus - the yarn is from a small yarnwinder in my country. TanjaOh, I almost forgot about this beauty! I used 2 Yarncakes and alternated them; I ended up using about 1824 m yarn. It's a pattern by a polish designer, essentially it's just charts and I was so proud that I managed to make it. Being able to read crochet charts opens up a whole new world beyond language barriers. TanjaLets visit some more projects made from hand dyed yarn. For me, it's always so much harder to find a suitable project in crochet for those beautiful Indie Yarns. TanjaI think this was one of the first half circle shawls I attempted. And the one I kept for myself and which gets a lot of wear. (especially since I learned a couple of wrapping techniques). It's very soft and drapeable.
