With 20 DEX (which you get pretty quickly in #DnD5E), you get +5 to AC, +5 to Hit, and +5 to Damage, and that's before magical or exceptional weapon bonuses.
LRT: made me think about the fact that, although I think there's a lot of things about #DnD that I don't like in terms of good game design, I am more interested in playing #TTRPGs than I am in debating good game design. I'll put up with #DnD5E, if it means playing versus not playing.
Hasbro has not been a great steward of the hobby. They would be smart to spin-off WotC into a design studio, and make D&D licensed goods.

Magic item Idea. A magical weapon that when it is used to kill an intelligent creature, that creature then comes to you in your dreams and you have to beat them in a wisdom challenge in order to rest or gain exhaustion.
I made a new post/video about my #pony #miniature for #dnd. This #mini is painted like a Przewalski’s #horse because I used to work with them and they are delightful, beautiful, and #endangered and I often paint my #dnd5e #minis like endangered animals. I worked with Przewalski’s horses briefly and can confirm that they are wonderful animals. I can also confirm that theirn name is easier to pronouce than it seems.

Boah, das war heute eine intensive #Bogenschießen Session. Weil ich weiß, dass ich zwei Wochen nicht mehr zum Training kommen kann, habe ich in 1,5 Stunden versucht, den Compoundbogen grob für 20, 30, 40 und 50 Meter einzustellen und auch noch ein paar Tests mit dem neuen Langbogen gemacht, um zu sehen, ob ich ihn behalten will. Five hour session of 5e today, a rarity given the two countries and three time zones involved.
In the Dungeon of the Mad Mage we found the well-hidden tomb of a dwarven king, apologetically desecrating it for the relic key we need to escape. Fought a wild mix of demons we foolishly unleashed on ourselves, and then a weird impostor that turned out to be a slaad.
