As a Dutch citizen our #dumb #jokes always had the #belgians as subject. This is a cultural mishap here in the Netherlands. I noticed that each country has it's own 'target' for these jokes. This is my attempt to set the record straight. Clearly the #americans are dumber. All our jokes should be about them. I have opened a petition to spread awareness. openpetition.eu/nl/petition/on

Why we have them is still a question for me. Since Donald Trump took office we can clearly see that the Americans are more stupid. I emplore the good people of Europe to alter all our jokes that are about stupidity to be changes so that we can reflect the current reality.

I have a George story.

For those who came in late, George is our very large and very dumb house rabbit. He's a mutt, brown with one lop ear and one erect, and weighs somewhere in the neighbourhood of 8 kg - 17 pounds. We haven't weighed him in a long time, because he's not a fan of being picked up, so it's stressful.

Anyways... last night I went to give him a treat before I went to bed. He has one of those flat-packed wooden cottages that you fit together with tabs and slots, and generally overnights in it. He's generally in there some time before I go to bed.

So I got the treat, came to the cottage, and called him as usual. He was in the cottage in the opposite direction of his usual way - and even though there are entrances at both ends, he couldn't figure out how to get out... 🤣 He kept trying to turn around inside the cottage, and he's too big for that.

George, a large brown house rabbit with one erect ear and one lop ear, is sitting under a plastic stepstool on the carpeted floor. His erect ear is pointed in the direction of the photographer, with his head turned to image-left, so the eye on the near side of his head also appears to be looking directly at the viewer. His four feet are together, and he is holding his head low, close to the floor. His large butt points away in the opposite direction.

I have been messing with my PC USB cables, and managed to connect the Keyboard USB cable, to one of the USB ports on that same keyboard.

For some reason, the keyboard did not work 🤔

This is the latest in a string of self-inflicted wounds by the new admin that are squandering America’s strength & threatening our #NationalSecurity. Firing hundreds of #FederalWorkers charged w/protecting our nation’s #nuclear weapons is also #dumb. So is shutting down efforts to fight #pandemics just as a deadly #Ebola outbreak is spreading in Africa. It makes no sense to purge talented generals, diplomats & spies at a time when rivals like China & Russia are trying to expand their…reach.
