It's amazing how poor #eir's website is at handling "I want to re-contract" for an account with two numbers. I want to re-contract one number on one plan, one number on another. However, no one apparently thought about that when coding the site, so it looks like I'll have to do two separate transactions..

I just love the way that every time you want to do something with #Eir there’s always a problem. Can’t even login to My Eir anymore - says it needs to send an email and it never arrives

Gosh I bet #Eir are really stinging from that whopping _checks notes_ €7,500 fine.

That's not even "insignificant fines are merely the cost of doing business". That's more in the territory of "rounding error on monthly accounts".

Disgraceful behaviour by Eir, but unfortunately I am not surprised.

Just got a call from #eir asking if we’d like to upgrade to fibre to the home installation offer. An engineer comes out. Sounds like a bit of work. Went through the options and agreed to try it. Asked what if we decided not to, could we get a better deal on our current bundle which is more pricey than the offer. Oh no. So we’re kind of forced into an upgrade economically! #obsolescence #capitalism

Anyone else have issues with #eir at the moment? Seems like they’re having a major outage. #ireland

If only #Eir or the #Gardai had a way to track and catch these #scammers.

So #EIR can’t fix our broadband until next week. Sigh. No, it doesn’t matter that they said 48 hours, tomorrow, Thursday, etc. These are just words. MyEir was to be down for 2 hours yesterday while they had their Christmas party. Doesn’t seem to be back yet. Must have been a great party. WFH not looking possible this week.

So #eir lives up to their standard... after the maintenance we're now getting brand new error! YEAH!

Monitoring systems at #Eir are either crap or no one gives a fuck about them... MyEir service has been down since Saturday and doesn't look to be getting any better.

Porting my number from #eir to #vodafone, new SIM will require up to 5 days to arrive but my old one has been disabled already! Because why not?
And Vodafone support chat is absolute crap. Yay!
